Who we are and what this covers
AAA IT provides Nightsafe for Android, package com.nightsafe.nightsafe, and this product website. This policy covers the published app and the forthcoming 2.0 update. Version-specific features are identified below. Nightsafe has no user accounts or developer-operated cloud service for your lighting data.

Lighting, permissions, and local data
Camera permission is used only to control the rear flashlight. The app does not take photos or videos, record audio, or request contacts or precise location. This describes the lighting functions; the advertising service can infer an approximate location from network data.
The app saves lighting preferences on your device. In 2.0, these include light mode, screen colour and brightness, and your flashlight/screen selection. Android backup or device transfer may copy preferences if enabled. In 2.0, the battery level is read to display an indicator; we do not send it to our own server.
The earlier version may request permission to change system brightness. Version 2.0 adjusts only its own window brightness and does not require permission to change system settings. In 2.0, you can decline camera permission and still use screen light.
Advertising and privacy choices
Nightsafe uses Google AdMob. The service may collect and share device/account identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. Ad SDK traffic is encrypted in transit. Identifier processing varies with settings and your choices. See Google and Google Ads.
In 2.0, Google UMP manages consent, and ads are requested when the consent status permits them. Open “Privacy choices” in the app to revisit choices when Google makes them available. You can also manage Android advertising settings. Lighting works offline.
This website and external services
This site adds no marketing analytics, registration forms, or first-party cookies. Cloudflare hosts it and processes technical connection data, such as IP addresses and request information, to deliver and protect the site. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Opening Google Play or another external link brings you under that service’s policies. The colour preview sends no selection to a server.
Retention and deletion
Local lighting preferences remain until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it. A device backup may restore preferences after reinstallation; manage backups in Android settings. There is no Nightsafe account or developer-operated lighting database to delete.
If you contact support, your address and message may be processed to handle your request. You can request deletion of correspondence using the contact below, subject to any legally required retention. Advertising and hosting providers retain the data they process under their own policies; uninstalling Nightsafe does not automatically delete those providers’ data.
Your choices and requests
You can revoke camera permission, clear app data, and manage Android backup and advertising choices. To request access, correction, or deletion of information we may hold from your correspondence, use Developer contact on Google Play. We may need to verify that the request is yours. Contact Google or Cloudflare directly about information each provider controls.
External services may process data in different countries. Their policies explain applicable safeguards and choices. Your rights may vary under applicable law.
Children and security
Nightsafe is a general-purpose lighting utility, not a social network or a service specifically directed at children. We do not ask for a user’s age or create child profiles. Parents should review device permissions and advertising controls. If you believe a child’s information has been sent to us, contact us so we can address it.
This website uses HTTPS, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive information in support messages.
Updates and contact
We will update this page when the app’s practices or connected services change and revise the date above. This policy is accessible in English and Arabic without signing in.
